West Virginia State University Master Plan
Institute, West Virginia
BullockSmith, along with local partner ZMM, worked with multiple task forces and administrative teams to develop this institution’s first comprehensive master plan in over 20 years. The result provides a comprehensive list of deferred maintenance projects that identify buildings and facilities in need of renovation, additions and demolition. We also developed a list of necessary major site improvements including vehicular and pedestrian circulation, parking, and landscaping. Additional key elements include identifying clear property acquisition boundaries that are appropriate for campus expansion, and a list of proposed new facilities and building sites, including capital projects, in order of priority.
