UT Institute of Agriculture Biotechnology Research Facility

BullockSmith, in joint venture with BMA, led the design of this 144,000 SF regional research and teaching facility sits in the heart of the Agriculture campus of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Modular labs which flank utility cores incorporate fume hoods, growth chambers, and a wide range of other technical equipment. The five-story complex also features classrooms, offices and a multi-media conference suite. Exteriors blend with the existing campus, while metal cladding, quartz tile floors, expansive glass areas and terraces help create a signature campus centerpiece.
