Missoula County Fairgrounds Implementation Plan
BullockSmith was fairgrounds consultant to local partner A&E Architects P.C. in the development of an implementation plan for the Missoula County Fairgrounds. The current fairgrounds have been home to the Western Montana Fair & Rodeo since 1913, but this long running agricultural celebration can trace its beginnings all the way back to 1879. The project will change the face of the facility to create a more park-like setting with better direct connections to the community. New facilities will include an exhibition building with 20,000 square feet (SF) of exhibit space, a 60,000-80,000 SF multipurpose livestock exhibit building, a 3,000 seat rodeo arena, and improved services, infrastructure, and parking facilities.
