Knoxville Station Transit Center

Knoxville, Tennessee

BullockSmith, in joint venture with MHM, Inc., designed the City of Knoxville’s central Transit Station to serve the public with 20 bus bays, passenger amenities, and administrative space for Knoxville Area Transit. The majority of the project is re-claimed air-right space over James White parkway allowing the station to serve as a link between the central core of the city and the eastern civic fringe at Hall of Fame Drive. The Transit Center was the City’s first US Green Building Certified facility and was granted LEED Silver certification.
