Christ the King Presbyterian Church
This new sanctuary and three-story religious education facility complete the first phase of the churches’ master plan developed by BullockSmith. This phase includes a 300-seat fellowship hall/sanctuary, religious education offices, a kitchen, a youth center, and classroom space for adult and child religious education. BullockSmith’s design is based on aspects of the Gothic Revival style. Buttresses and stone trims foster this intention, as do the proportions of the window and door openings. Their design accommodates the church’s many and varied functions in a flat-roofed volume, while bringing the more detailed profile of the Fellowship Hall to the foreground as a special feature.
