All of us at BullockSmith were saddened to learn of the death of one of our founders last Sunday. William Glenn Bullock, Sr. FAIA was 88 when he died on November 25, 2018.  He was elected a Fellow in the American Institute of Architects and also received AIA East Tennessee’s highest honor, Gold Medal Award.  His work with many of our founding partners while a part of McCarty Bullock McCarty (now MHM) for the 1982 World’s Fair in Knoxville led them to establish Bullock, Smith & Partners (BSP) in 1984 which built a reputation internationally for designing theme parks, fairgrounds and themed entertainment facilities. Glenn left BSP in 2000 and went on to found The Bullock Group.
